The RAPTOR project began shortly after introducing my original T-Rex. Customers commented on how they loved the original rest but for air travel and easier carrying and set up, could it be made in a smaller lighter version without sacrificing features or stability? One of my primary goals throughout the project was to make any new improvements all retrofit to update the original T-Rex. So, after revisiting every single part, we found ways to reduce the overall weight without sacrificing features and stability.

The T-Rex front rest just might be the most innovative and unique front rest ever made. Over the years I have owned and used just about every front rest available. I started with a Farley and have since purchased and used all of the various SEBs.
There are features I like about each design but there are also annoyances and deficiencies.
I have been a tool and die maker for 40 plus years. For 24 years I worked for the college of engineering at Oklahoma State University as a research instrument maker tasked with designing and producing hardware to support research programs. During this time, I was exposed to a wide spectrum of mechanical devises providing me with a very unique skill set.
