The Trex base has a footprint of 15” wide X 11” front to back. The aluminum material reduces your weight to around 16-17 Lbs for a complete rest.

Replacing your old steel base with this new Trex base only takes a few minutes. first remove
the take down bolt under the base that threads up into the bottom of the geared rack.
Simply slide the upper bridge assembly off the vertical posts on your old base and
slide the bridge assembly down onto the posts on your new aluminum base and
replace, and tighten the takedown bolt on the new base plate.
